Lean Manufacturing Specialist

About the Role Our client, a renowned manufacturer of high-precision components in Jaipur , is seeking a dedicated Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive continuous improvement initiatives across their operations. This role is critical in identifying and eliminating waste, enhancing process efficiency, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and practical experience in implementing these tools within a manufacturing setting. You will work closely with production teams, management, and engineers to redesign workflows, implement best practices, and achieve measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost reduction. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation and sustainment of Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping). Identify and eliminate waste in all forms (e.g., overproduction, waiting, transport, inventory, motion, over-processing, defects). Facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional team workshops. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Train employees at all levels on Lean methodologies and continuous improvement concepts. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and track the impact of implemented changes. Support the development and deployment of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Conduct process audits and Gemba walks to ensure adherence to Lean principles. Collaborate with management to set continuous improvement goals and strategies. Promote a culture of problem-solving and continuous learning throughout the organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement roles. Proven experience in applying Lean tools and methodologies (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke). Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent facilitation and training skills. Ability to work effectively with teams at all organizational levels. Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
