Overview: The TOSCA Automation Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of software applications within the organization. By utilizing the TOSCA test automation framework, this position focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate both functional and non-functional requirements of the software. This role helps streamline the testing process, minimizing manual efforts and maximizing test coverage through a comprehensive approach to automation. Automation testers work closely with various stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams, to continuously improve testing methodologies and processes. In addition, they provide insights and feedback on the overall software development life cycle, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automated test scripts using TOSCA. Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality. Execute automated test cases and analyze results for discrepancies. Identify, report, and track defects using test management tools. Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Develop and maintain testing frameworks and strategies. Provide training and support to team members on TOSCA tools. Perform API testing to ensure backend services functionality. Participate in code and test case reviews to ensure quality standards. Monitor and report on test execution progress and quality metrics. Document automated test processes and findings for future reference. Stay updated with the latest testing technologies and TOSCA features. Assist in regression testing for new software releases. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for the testing process. Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies in testing. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in test automation using TOSCA. Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Experience with manual testing processes and techniques. Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python). Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services testing. Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Able to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. 2+ years of experience in software testing or automation.
